The Kela Fee Memorial Golf Classic (formerly the Fall Golf Classic) benefits clinical trials research at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center at the University of Louisville. Tickets to the Sunday Evening Tee-Off Party & Auction are $100 each ($50 is tax deductible) and golf scramble reservations (which includes one Sunday Evening Tee-Off Party & Auction ticket) are $250 per individual golfer ($60 per golfer is tax deductible and includes one Sunday Evening Tee-Off Party & Auction ticket). Sponsorship opportunities are available starting at $500.

In 2006, the late Dr. Kela Lyons Fee founded the Fall Golf Classic to benefit clinical trials research at the James Graham Brown Cancer Center. After being diagnosed with cancer in 2004, Kela devoted herself to raising funds to ensure that future patients would benefit from research being done today. In December 2008, we unfortunately lost Kela to this terrible disease. Those who knew and loved Kela remain committed to raising funds in her memory. This year, to honor her spirit, the Fall Golf Classic has been renamed the Kela Fee Memorial Golf Classic.

Levels of Participation

$10,000 ($5,760 is tax deductible)

Four foursomes to play golf (includes carts and lunch)
Opportunity to substitute celebrity golfer(s) in foursome(s) (based on availability)
$100 gift certificate for each golfer
Hole or tee sponsorship (name on signage)
16 tickets to the Sunday Evening Tee-Off Party & Auction (to be used by golfers or sponsor’s choice of guests. Additional tickets may be purchased for $100 each).

Recognition in all promotional materials and activities, including press releases
Recognition in Brown Cancer Center’s “Finding Answers” newsletter, which is mailed to more than 9,000 donors, physicians and prominent Kentuckians
