Mint Jubilee Cancer Resource Center
The Mint Jubilee Cancer Resource Center was created to provide a peaceful environment for cancer patients to learn, relax and heal emotionally. The ambience is welcoming, healing and comforting. In fact, the natural lighting and colors were chosen by patients to promote a healing atmosphere.
The Center is the result of a collaboration between the Kentucky Cancer Program, American Cancer Society and the Brown Cancer Center’s clinical staff to provide cancer patients and caregivers with accurate, reliable information to help them make intelligent decisions about cancer care.
Educational materials, videos and Internet access to cancer-related websites are offered to patients, providing the knowledge and skills they need to cope with their condition and its treatment. Patients are connected with support groups and other free services that can help in the healing process.
From coffee to counseling, the goal of the Mint Jubilee Cancer Resource Center is to help connect patients and family members with needed services.
Most classes or services require preregistration, so please call the Mint Jubilee at 502.562.4158 or 866.530.5516 or register online by clicking on the event of your choice in the calendar.
