Brown Cancer Center. Making tomorrow BRIGHTER for everyone.

Finding Answers to Cancer

University, state and community leaders dedicate the James Graham Brown Cancer Center's Molecular Imaging Research Center in 2002. The James Graham Brown Cancer Center at the University of Louisville is undergoing an exciting quest—to become one of the nation’s top cancer research and treatment centers.

To reach this goal, the Brown Cancer Center is embarking on Finding Answers to Cancer, a $41.5 million capital campaign.

Private support will help us grow the center’s six major research programs, all of which hold the hope of ending cancer as we know it.

Show your faith in the future. Join Finding Answers to Cancer.

Funds generated by the Finding Answers to Cancer campaign will directly support the Brown Cancer Center’s six core research programs: structural biology, molecular targets, tumor immunology, stem cell biology, experimental therapeutics and cancer prevention and control.

These programs have been built to:

  • maximize scientific efficiency by creating focused cross-discipline synergies
  • maximize readiness for NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center status
  • maximize patient benefit by developing advanced therapies with fewer side effects
