Gynecologic Oncology
Welcome to University OB/GYN and Associates Division of Oncology.
You have been referred to us because your general gynecologist,
primary care physician or another physician discovered an abnormal
result, precancerous condition or possibly a definitive cancer diagnosis
of your female organs.
No other practice in the region offers a higher level of service
to women with related disorders of the reproductive system or to
the physicians serving these patients.
Our affiliation with the University of Louisville School of Medicine
and the James Graham Brown Cancer Center keeps us ahead of the curve,
and the Center’s research and academic environments enable
us to constantly explore new theories, new therapies and new possibilities.
We offer a full scope of diagnostic techniques and treatment options
including:
- Simple office procedures and biopsies
- Outpatient laparoscopic procedures
- Inpatient surgical procedures
- Chemotherapy
- Radiation
- Genetic screening and counseling for patients who may be at
a high risk for a gynecologic cancer
